Don't stress, there's no need to impress.

Have you always felt you're in somebody's shadow? That some people just seem to stand out so easily and there's just no way you can match up? And that feeling's just awful.. Cos you really wish you could. Why can't people see me for me? Why can't they stop calling me so and so's friend/sis... Truth is, you are actually equally important. Your friend/sibling is playing the role of the sparkling diamond while you are the ring with extricate designs that holds the ring. People only look at the diamond, but when the diamond falls off, then people realise how beautiful the ring is. Furthermore, you hold the ring. The ring depends on you. Your friend or sibling that shines talks to you, depends on you to hear her sufferings/sorrows. People only see the diamond, but they don't see the ring behind the diamond. The supporter, the giver, the patient one. So you are not useless. You are special, don't despair. And don't try to
imitate to shine and impress. Just be natural, be real. People who see you as you are will come to you. Those who don't, you can't be bothered with them either.
